Some FAQ's about the day

When and Where does the Festival take place?

 

Manchester's Vegan Christmas Festival takes place on 1st & 2nd December 2018 at Victoria Baths, Manchester. To find out moe about the location, please click here.

 

When is First and Last Entry?

 

First Entry is at 10am and Last Entry is at 4:45pm. The site will close it's doors at 5:45pm each day.

 

How much does it cost to get in?

 

Early Bird Tickets are now on sale priced £5 for adults and can be purchased by clicking here.

 

What kind of stalls will be there?

 

There will be an array of stalls at the fesival, selling items such as clothing, books, jewellery, healthcare, cosmetic, confectionary and much more. We have handselected local businsses who produce products ethically, considerate to the environment and of course with a vegan philosophy.

 

A final list of stall holders will be released nearer the time.

 

What food options will be available?

 

We will have 6 outlets available serving an array of hot street-food. These will be local sourced and cater for differing dietary requirements. There will also be a number of stalls serving cakes, chocolates and confectionary for you to enjoy on the day.

 

What drink options will be available?

 

We will have a fully stocked bar offering a number of Vegan Friendly drink options including Beers, Wines, Cocktails and Soft Drinks.

 

Will there be entertainment?

 

Yes, we will have a full line-up of live music to enjoy in one of the main pool areas, next to the bar!

 

Will there be seating available?

 

There will be some seating available on the day in the second pool next to all the food outlets, so you should have somewhere to sit whilst you eat.

 

Is there disabled access?

 

Update for accessible visitors to the festival:

 

We can confirm that there is step free access available into Victoria Baths via the main festival entrance, and most of the facilities in the festival will be accessible without stairs, including the Live Music, Street Food, Bar, ReNu furniture showroom, Santa’s Grotto, Children’s Crafts and The Wine Shop.

 

“The Gala Pool” which is home to most of the stalls will also be accessible via a lift which will be operated by our team of volunteers on the day. Please note that there is a weight restriction of 275kg for the lift. The Female’s Pool (home to approximately 12 stalls) and the balcony (home to talks and films) will be accessible via stairs only.

 

We can also confirm that Victoria Baths welcomes guide and assistance dogs into the venue, but other dogs are not permitted into the venue.

 

Will there be a Santa's Grotto?

 

Santa will be appeaing in his grotto and it is possible to pay him a visit. This is being run by the charity Barnabus who will charge a small fee.

 

Will there be gift wrapping service?

 

Yes, Barnabus charity will offer gift wrapping in return for a small donation.

 

What is the Vegan Winery?

 

We have teamed up with a number of vegan winemakers and will be selling their bottles at the festival. Our Sommelier will be on-hand to talk you through the different wines. 50ml tasters of them will be available for £1, which we will give back to you if you decide to buy a whole bottle!

 

Will Credit and Debit Cards be accepted?

 

Credit Cards and Debit Cards will be accepted at the bar, at hot food outlets and at SOME of the stalls. However, we reccommend you bring cash on the day, as not all stalls will accept card payments, and there is no cash machine on site.

 

What will the temperature be like in Victoria Baths?

 

Cold! Victoria Baths is unheated, and therefore the temperature inside is often colder than outside, so please bear that in mind when you're getting dressed in the morning.

We have a number of spaces reserved for charites at no cost. Please email info@MCRVeganXmas.co.uk with informaion on your charity and what you are looking for and we will get back to you.

 

We are musicians who would like to play on the day. How do we get a slot?

 

We still have a couple of spaces on the roster, so please email info@MCRVeganXmas.co.uk with a link to your online music profiles and we will be back in touch!
