The Nearest Bus Route is the 50
Runs from Manchester City Centre (Princess St) to East Didsbury. Get off at the junction of Upper Brook St, Anson Rd and Hathersage Rd. Walk east along Hathersage Rd to the Baths (1/4 mile).
Other buses from Piccadilly Gardens include the 41 - 44, 48, 192 - more info below.
If you are travelling by train from outside Greater Manchester, you can buy a PlusBus ticket on top of your rail ticket for unlimited bus travel (not trams) in the Greater Manchester area. From Piccadilly Station
Catch the 192 from the stop on London Road heading for Stockport and get off opposite Plymouth Grove West. Walk down Plymouth Grove West and Hathersage Road (approx 1/2 mile).
Alternatively, you can catch a taxi from the train station (about £8 - £10).
From Oxford Road Station
Catch any of the buses heading south out of town on Oxford Road numbered 41 - 44, or 48. Get off opposite Whitworth Park, next to St Mary's Hospital, (after MCR Royal Infirmary). Walk down Hathersage Road in front of St Mary's Hospital, crossing over traffic lights. It is about 1/2 mile to the Baths from the bus stop.
From Victoria Station
Take the MetroLink tram* to either Piccadilly Station and continue as described above or to St Peter's square and catch a number 50 bus.
*You can travel free on Metrolink trams in the city zone if you have bought a rail ticket for travel from any Greater Manchester station to Piccadilly, Victoria, Deansgate or Oxford Road. Your rail tickets should show Manchester CTLZ as its destination. Details here
From the M56
Follow signs for Manchester City Centre (A5103).
As you approach the city centre you pass Alexandra Park on left.
Continue through next lights, prepare to turn right.
Turn down Moss Lane East (Brewery is on the corner).
Continue to the end of Moss Lane East.
Turn left onto Oxford Road, then right onto Hathersage Road.
Pass over next lights.
Victoria Baths is on the left.
From the Mancunian Way, A57(M) / City Centre
Turn off onto the A34, signed for Congleton.
Continue south for approx. one mile.
Pass the Royal Infirmary, Accident and Emergency on your right.
Turn left at the next traffic lights onto Hathersage Road.
Victoria Baths is on the left.
Please note that there is NO CAR PARKING FACILITIES available for this event. If you wish to arrive by car, there is on-street parking in the surrounding area which is likely to get busy.
Alternatively, the closest multi-storey car park is located approximately 0.25 miles away on Hathersage Road at St Mary's Hospital, University Hospital Mancheser, M13 9WL and priced at approximately £2.50 fo 2 hours.
